Early Amazon Prime Day deals are already available in Canada

Amazon officially revealed that Prime Day 2024 will take place on July 16 and 17. While that’s still a few weeks away, shoppers don’t have to wait until then to take advantage of Prime Day deals.

Prime members can already save big with exclusive discounts on popular items like Ring Video Doorbells, eero Wi-Fi routers, Blink home security systems, Dyson vacuums and more – if you’re new to the program, you can sign up for a free trial. There are also plenty of other savings that non-Prime members can still take advantage of.

How to get ready for Prime Day

If you’re a Prime member wondering how you can start prepping for Prime Day, Amazon has several features that will make it easier to shop come July 16: 

• Receive deal alerts from Alexa: If you have one of Amazon’s Alexa-enabled devices, you can set reminders to track deals on your favourite items. Just say, “Alexa, add [product name] to my cart,” to be notified on your device when a deal becomes available.
• Sign up for invite-only deals: For select high-demand items, Amazon offers invite-only deals for Prime members. Members who are selected will be notified via email during Prime Day with instructions on how to purchase the item at the exclusive deal price.
• Set up deal notifications: Prime members can set up personalized notifications to be alerted when recent searches and product views go on sale. To receive these alerts, visit the Prime Day event page on the Amazon Shopping app to create the deal alerts.
